Avatharam is an upcoming Malayalam action thriller movie directing by Joshy starring Dileep in the lead role.The film is being made on a huge budget and is touted to be a mass entertainer. Dileep was paid a huge amount as remuneration to act in the film.

Avatharam will be Joshy's first movie of 2014. This will be the seventh time when Dileep and Joshiy will work together in a movie after Sainyam, Runway, Lion , July 4, Twenty 20, Christain Brothers. This will be Dileep's long awaited return to action roles The first teaser released already and the movie now scheduled to release on August 1.
